“Truly I say to you, Whoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.” (Mark 10:15 AKJV)

“And you shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.” (Mark 13:13 AKJV)

Christians should not be surprised when the people of this world do not appreciate them. Jesus told us that this would be the case.

“And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord: And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is none other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31 AKJV)

God wants our love. If He has this He will have all of us.

“For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37 AKJV)

The God who made the universe in which we live can do anything. He is the mighty God.

“Cast your burden on the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” (Psalms 55:22 AKJV)

Tell the Lord about it. He can help you. Pray.

“And he said to them, Be not affrighted: You seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.” (Mark 16:6 AKJV)

Jesus arose from the dead to never die again. He alone is the Savior of the world. Put your faith in Him.

Take time to pray. It is time well spent.

Thursday, September 29, 2016
“But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against the LORD: and be sure your sin will find you out.” (Numbers 32:23 AKJV)

This is a sobering thought. We are all held accountable before God. We don’t want justice, we need mercy.

Friday, September 30, 2016
“O God, you are my God; early will I seek you: my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;” (Psalms 63:1 AKJV)

This is the best way to begin every day.

Saturday, October 1, 2016
“And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” (Luke 4:16 AKJV)

If Jesus went to the house of the Lord on a regular basis, shouldn’t we?

God wants our love most of all. He loves us. We should love Him.

Thursday, October 6, 2016
“And why call you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46 AKJV)

Saying and doing are two entirely different things. Real Christians do the will of God.

“Give, and it shall be given to you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that you mete with it shall be measured to you again.” (Luke 6:38 AKJV)

God is a giver. We should follow His example. We will be blessed if we do.
