June 7 - July 11, 2020

Sunday, June 7, 2020

“Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying, Before I formed you in the belly I knew you; and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you, and I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” (Jeremiah 1:4-5 AKJV)

Life is sacred. God gave it to us. Life should be valued at conception. We are made in the image of God.

Monday, June 8, 2020

“And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient to death, even the death of the cross.” (Philippians 2:8 AKJV)

This is what Jesus, the Son of God, did for us. He died for us. We should live for Him.

Tuesday, June 9, 2020

“For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water.” (Jeremiah 2:13 AKJV)

It just doesn’t make sense to walk away from God.

Wednesday, June 10, 2020

“Why God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 AKJV)

This day is coming. Jesus is Lord.

Thursday, June 11, 2020

“Thus said the LORD, Stand you in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and you shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.” (Jeremiah 6:16 AKJV)

We may not need the good old days but we sure need the good old ways. Let’s turn back to the Lord.

Friday, June 12, 2020

“That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death;” (Philippians 3:10 AKJV)

We should get to know the Lord better. He will bless us and make us a blessing.

Saturday, June 13, 2020

“Therefore you shall speak all these words to them; but they will not listen to you: you shall also call to them; but they will not answer you.” (Jeremiah 7:27 AKJV)

God’s men must continue to speak His Word whether people listen or not.

Sunday, June 14, 2020

“Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.” (Philippians 4:4 AKJV)

When we get our joy from Jesus it will last because He never changes.

Monday, June 15, 2020

“O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, do you it for your name’s sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you.” (Jeremiah 14:7 AKJV)

We too need to call on the Lord to be merciful to all of us.

Tuesday, June 16, 2020

“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:6-7 AKJV)

Tell the Lord about it. He can give you peace that the world cannot give.

Wednesday, June 17, 2020

“Then said the LORD to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.” (Jeremiah 15:1 AKJV)

Don’t take the grace and patience of the Lord for granted. Don’t cross the line.

Thursday, June 18, 2020

“Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honest, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8 AKJV)

How is your thinking? Think on the things of God.

Friday, June 19, 2020

“Thus said the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD.” (Jeremiah 17:5 AKJV)

We can depend on God. God is faithful.

Saturday, June 20, 2020

“Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:” (Colossians 1:13-14 AKJV)

This is what God can do for you also. Pray. Trust Him.

Sunday, June 21, 2020

“Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8 AKJV)

God wants to bless us and make us a blessing.

Monday, June 22, 2020

“I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.” (Philippians 4:13 AKJV)

Jesus can do it. Have faith in Him to work in your circumstances.

Tuesday, June 23, 2020

“Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14 AKJV)

Pray. The Lord is waiting to hear from you. Have faith in Him.

Wednesday, June 24, 2020

“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” (Colossians 1:16 AKJV)

The “him” in the verse above is Jesus. It’s all about Jesus. We were created by Him for Him.

Thursday, June 25, 2020

“Am I a God at hand, said the LORD, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? said the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? said the LORD.” (Jeremiah 23:23-24 AKJV)

We can’t hide from God. This is His world.

Friday, June 26, 2020

“If you then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sits on the right hand of God. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Colossians 3:1-2 AKJV)

Are our priorities in the right place? The verse above will help make the right decisions.

Saturday, June 27, 2020

“Is not my word like as a fire? said the LORD; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29 AKJV)

Don’t underestimate the power of the Word of God.

Sunday, June 28, 2020

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:19 AKJV)

The Lord is able to deliver. Pray. Trust Him for the results.

Monday, June 29, 2020

“And you shall seek me, and find me, when you shall search for me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 AKJV)

The Lord is waiting on us to truly pursue Him. Are you ready?

Tuesday, June 30, 2020

“For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when you received the word of God which you heard of us, you received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually works also in you that believe.” (1 Thessalonians 2:13 AKJV)

The Bible is not the word of men. It is the Word of God. We must take it seriously.

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

“Sing aloud to God our strength: make a joyful noise to the God of Jacob.” (Psalms 81:1 AKJV)

The Christian faith is a singing faith. Sing to the Lord. He is worthy to be praised.

Thursday, July 2, 2020

“For God has not called us to uncleanness, but to holiness. He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given to us his holy Spirit.” (1 Thessalonians 4:7-8 AKJV)

The Christian life is a holy life. We should bring glory to the Lord.

Friday, July 3, 2020

“But my people would not listen to my voice; and Israel would none of me. So I gave them up to their own hearts’ lust: and they walked in their own counsels.” (Psalms 81:11-12 AKJV)

Let’s listen to the Lord. He will save us a lot of heartache.

Saturday, July 4, 2020

“This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” (1 Timothy 1:15 AKJV)

Amen! Jesus is a wonderful Savior.

Sunday, July 5, 2020

“Confidence in an unfaithful man in time of trouble is like a broken tooth, and a foot out of joint.” (Proverbs 25:19 AKJV)

Be reliable. This is a good witness for the Lord.

Monday, July 6, 2020

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:” (1 Thessalonians 4:16 AKJV)

Jesus is coming back. Will you be glad to see Him?

Tuesday, July 7, 2020

“For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.” (Psalms 84:10 AKJV)

People who love the Lord love to go to church and worship the Lord.

Wednesday, July 8, 2020

“Rejoice ever more. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 AKJV)

This is a good way to live every day.

Thursday, July 9, 2020

“For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusts in you.” (Psalms 84:11-12 AKJV)

It is a blessing to know the Lord and walk with Him through life.

We need to pray like this. Lord, have mercy and send a much needed revival.
